Michaelson Real Estate Group, LLC and a private equity investor acquire The Park at Sorrento Apartments in Kissimmee, Florida

Michaelson Real Estate Group, LLC (“Michaelson”) and a private equity investor have acquired The Park at Sorrento Apartments, a 208-unit multihousing community in Kissimmee, Florida. The asset enjoyed 96% occupancy at the time of purchase.
Kissimmee is known for its off-the-beaten-path adventures and proximity to world-famous theme parks. The Park at Sorrento is located at 900 Woodside Circle, Kissimmee, Florida, just minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and Sea World Orlando. It has convenient access to Interstate 4, US 192 and Florida’s Turnpike. Downtown Kissimmee and Osceola Regional Medical Center, a major employer, are within driving distance. Major retail in the surrounding area includes Kmart, Publix, Lowes and Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Built in 1974, The Park at Sorrento features a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in four different floor plans with fully equipped kitchens with frost-free refrigerators, oven and dishwasher, carpeted/upgraded vinyl floors, private balcony/porches. Units are plumbed with full size washers/dryer connections.
